A life size Redtail Hawk commission for an American customer. Made with Corten and stainless steel with machined brass detail. The hawk is a departure from my project of creating sculptures of Peak District bird species. 58 x 22 x 20 cm

Scruffy the crow commissioned and immortalised in hammered and welded steel. Black patina and lacquer, mounted to Peak District limestone. Black patina steel, limestone 48 x 44 x 31 cm

A life size Curlew commission, completed in stainless and Corten weathering steel. I conveyed the song of the bird through the liquid forms across the shoulders and back. The piece has been created by planishing metal into organically stretched and shrunk panels and welded to a skeleton. And finally the placing of the eyes, weld blending, polishing and oxidising brings the bird to life. 54 x 63 x 20 cm

A life size Raven made as an example piece for future commissions and is for sale. Steel, patina and oak. 60 x 50 x 17 cm

The customer asked for a Heron by the pond, this was both a challenge and an opportunity to create a figurative piece and experiment with different metals and making techniques. Corten and stainless steel. 110 cm
